from someone that does not live there, it felt safe to me at 3AM, so I'm sure it's fine at noon.

thanks everyone for the help - we ended up taking the q33 bus and then the 7 train into GCT no problems at all. The biggest hang up was lugging our duffles up the stairs at the sub station in Queens, but we managed. Had a great time in NYC.
