the last thing I wanna do is be outside. specially walk around/take trains. SO HOT!

if the beaches around here were nice like in Florida, I wouldn't be complaining but fo real, u go to Coney Island and it's like a rave where everyone's high on a combo of different drugs.

Try a different beach then. Fort Tilden, Rockaways, even neighboring Brighton Beach. You can even go out to Staten Island, Long Island or New Jersey.

The OP is apparently not a New Yorker (his public profile shows a zip code starting with the number 4), and so doesn't realize that this is the kind of thing we usually live through at this time of year.
As Mark Twain wrote, many years ago, "Everyone complains about the weather, but nobody does anything about it."

I grew up in Virginia, this is nothing! I actually love the heat, especially at night--you feel so much more alive when you can walk around as opposed to the winter when you're hurrying to get into your apartment. I played three hours of soccer on Saturday and all the guys were dropping like flies, meanwhile I'm all hey, let's play some more! Just gotta bring some water.

I think NYC generates it's own heat on top of that. Let's say it's 90 degrees outside and the self generated heat from all the concrete, tar and steel under the sun generates 8 degrees more, it would feel like it's 98. lol

Well today is nice, so we have that going for us, plus the 10-day outlook is looking good.

It's true. It always feels warmer in the city. Black tar, sidewalks, body heat, heat from cars, heat from businesses. There is just so so much heat in this city and not a whole lot of shade.
