I am moving a 14' UHAUL from Park Slope, Brooklyn to Becket, Ma in western massachusetts on sunday the 29th of july and I have no idea what route i am allowed to take.
Can i go through the Battery Tunnel of the Lincoln Tunnel and shoot out into NJ then go up.
Can i pass over the whitestone or throgs neck bridge, is one of them less frightening?

Any advice would be appreciated.
thanks!

278 east to 495 east to 295 north to 695 north
to 95 north to 91 north to 90 west i guess..

that way you don't have to go into
manhattan. you can stay on the big
island and head towards the bronx
into new england.

or just go to the fdr in manhattan north
to I-95 north, then points north and west
from there like explained.

i dont think uhauls are considered commerical vehicles so you should be ok anywhere

but dont quote me on it!

just simply ask uhaul ppl when you do rent and i am sure they will be able to give you the info

Depends on the size. I think our 17' was so we had to avoid a lot of routes into Queens. Just check with uHaul to see how they term the truck you want. If it's commercial then you will have to be picky with regards to the route you take.
