I went there once and had a very bad experience with the facilities and the crowds, and couldn't really get an effective workout. Definitely won't be going back again. NYSC is better if you have the $$

For a woman I'd only go jogging in Forest Park during the day. Wouldn't want to risk getting robbed or raped at night

Forest Hills Gardens is nice also...I see joggers everyday running all over. Have you ever seen the elderly male jogger run up and down Ascan Ave singing out loud? I always get a good laugh from him.

I ended up joining NYSC. There's a NYSC a block from where I work in Manhattan...and I got the universal membership so I can go to any of them. I havent had a chance to check out Rego Park or Forest Hills locations yet. I actually jogged down Ascan the other day but didnt see any singing joggers. Lol, I can barely breath when Im jogging, idk how he can sing!

Keep an eye out for him... He usually runs with these big goofy headphones on and is usually singing 70s rock songs loud enough you can hear him from 1/4 block away. I usually see him when my wife and I are visiting my parents house in the Gardens

I used to belong to the NYSC on Austin St and it is a BEAUTIFUL gym..five floors, great facility. I had to end my membership because with my new job, I needed something closer to home that wouldn't require a subway ride, and man is Bally's ever a steep step down.
