Im thinking of taking a day trip saturday to harlem.

Are there any reasonable parking lots around 125th and lennox area?

There is a large lot with an entry on 126th St between Lenox and 7th, near the State Office Building. I haven't used it in years, but as I recall the rates were perfectly in line with everything else uptown and far below Midtown rates.

126 between morningside and amsterdam has an open air lot- pretty cheap too.
as far as saturdays there's for SURE street parking on 123rd and amsterdam because there are 3 schools there that are not generally open on weekends.

thanks, weather permitting we will be headed out there in a bit. ill post photos later. last time we did a photo shoot we went to downtown flushing.

my wife stumbled upon a very well known national street gang who instead of robbing us let us photoshoot them as they flashed their gang signs and posed

hopefully we will be as lucky and make it back intact with photos to show.

i really like urbon street photography depicting the inner city life.. nothing like the heart and sole of what makes up our city. these are some examples:
