Does anyone know why Ave D (Tha Ave) and the Madison/Rutgers street projects(The Hill) have always had beef with one another. I know for a fact that this feud been ongoing since at least the 70s. Today its no where near as violent as it used to be but that tension is still there. I live in the La Guardia projects on Madison and i personally don't have any beef with no one on Ave D but i still avoid it. I'm just curious where it all started, I'd appreciate if anyone knows anything.

Mostly drug dealing issues, and who has "jurisdiction" over robbing people in FDR park.

That's pretty condescending and insensitive

Maybe so but there is no reason to point out that the OP may be lower class. It's not much different from saying that there is nothing like a reading the antics of the impoverished.
