Hit with the foam from a fire extinguisher ... how stressful for the poor animal.

Terrible story, I hope that the 'tiger' is ok ... they've disrupted his caged enviroment. I hope the zoo brings the man up on charges - he got what he deserved.
From the news article, the attack wasn't predatory just defensive. If it was predatory the tiger would have carried him away after attacking him. The fire extinguisher were to scare away the tiger while the guy was being rescuer not stop the attack.

Guy seems a bit of an animal nut. Reminds me of Antoine Yates.

I heard one newscast that the guy was suicidal. But on another newscast I heard that he was obsessive about tigers.
In any case, nobody is blaming the tiger. Actually it is being said that tiger actually saved the man's life as he could have killed him if he had wanted to.

I've heard of suicide by cop but suicide by cat is a new one. If I was depressed and wanted to check out I think I'd rather take a bullet than be mauled to death.

Apperently the guy was suicidal, there's plenty of quicker/less painful/more effective ways to end yourself. Unless he wanted to feed tigers at the same time.
