The tiger was standing his ground !

He also might be one of those lonely types who thought that the tiger wanted company....and I dont mean as dinner. There are some seriously strange people around.

They would have killed the tiger. Not as punishment for this incident, but out of fear that the tiger might lose its "respect" for humans and attempt the same on the handlers.

Zoo officials announced that day that the tiger did nothing wrong and was not being euthanized.

These animals in captivity may respect their handlers. They're not obligated to respect all humans, especially dumba$$e$ that jump 20 ft out of nowhere into their territory.

Y'all laughing but it's really not funny at all. It's obvious the poor man is mentally challenged in some way. The man needs psychological help.

Every time I read the title of the post I think I see the childhood type riddle:
Why did the Moron jump into the Tiger's Cage?

Maybe. And maybe he just doesn't have any common sense. Jumping off a monorail all by itself doesn't speak to a very high intelligence quotient. (Perhaps he just thought he was performing a stunt without realizing the tiger area was directly below).

In any case, it's good that you don't see his name mentioned anywhere. I should think this might affect his employment outlook--both now and in the future. Unless a market for common-sense-challenged stuntmen happens to open up.
