lol the texas picture, no i think for some people who haven't been to new york and live the "sheltered small town" lifestyle think that it's perfect..new york, unless you've visited and stayed there for more than 10 days, you can't possibly picture..the pictures on this thread are GORGEOUS, but don't do new york enough justice..if small-town folks like you come down and acually visit you'll understand =]

I love NYC. But my heart is with Chicago.
I just wish there were more TRULY urban cities to visit.

Nice, Boyce! I especially like the towers of the Majestic(?) over Central Park and this last one, with the Chrysler, the Hyatt and Grand Central.
Very nice!

It's the Manhattan Bridge I think. I say 'I think' because I took it when I was on the Circle Line cruise and so don't have a street reference to go by (and my memory is pretty crummy). It looks to be the Manhattan Bridge going by other pictures I've found of it online though.
(And thanks for all the praise folks! )

Manhattan Bridge. You can tell because it doesn't have the crossed support beams of the Williamsburg Bridge.

These pictures make me miss NYC more than I do already! I now live in Georgia, but can't wait to get back to the city. :-( There is no place like New York City!
