What are you doing with the rest of your last free week?
Honestly.... not much. Just relaxing until work comes. Enjoying the fact I feel normal again, that nothing is crawling all over me and biting me, etc.... the little things
That and thinking about something I shouldn't anymore and cant change, but I always tend to do this on occasions. But I'll get over it soon as always lol.
I am also happy to hear that things are getting back on track for you. Things are looking up, and I agree that long-term it's a good plan to formulate a way to get the training/education/certifications that you need. You can do it! You've proven that you are resourceful and that you seek to control your own life.
For a Lifetime movie, I'd have to cast Richard Armitage to play me. Seriously, though, things are looking up for you Bboy500, and while people here have given advice, resources, and whatnot, you're the person who went out and made it happen for you! You got the job! And, you should be proud of that fact, since people can give advice all day/night long on here, but if the person who receives it does not take action, well, that's their own issue.
Best of luck with your search for a room as well. And, when you have regular hours, you may be able to pick up a part-time job for an extra savings, even if it's only a temporary job that you put the check into your emergency fund.

For a feel-good movie about a homeless guy who goes on to own his own brokerage firm, check out The Pursuit of Happyness with Will Smith. I think you can watch the whole thing on Youtube in different segments.
The rousing, true-life story of a single dad who went from living on the streets to owning his own brokerage firm is brought to the big screen by superstar Will Smith, appearing for the first time opposite his real-life son Jaden Smith. Set in early-'80s San Francisco, the film charts the hard times and eventual comeback of Chris Gardner, a suddenly single salesman who has custody of his son, but finds that providing for the two of them is a challenge in the increasingly unstable economic climate. He struggles to work his way from unpaid intern at Dean Witter to something more substantial, even as life continues to offer him setbacks. Making his Hollywood debut, Italian director Gabriele Muccino was championed by Will Smith for the project. ~ Michael Hastings, Rovi
