What if the job is out of business and worked there almost a year and a half? I got paid off the books for that. I think I have to delete it now. I haven't sent anything yet.

Honestly if its out of business it doesn't seem like it would matter if its there or not but use your best judgement. They go over all of your background info AFTER your hired. They will come pull you out of class if they have to

I'm going to go to the ss office like you suggested. i want to do this right without any problems. Do you know if they give you a printout right on the spot or do I have to wait to get it in the mail?

Don't waste your money at the ss office I did and it was a complete waste of time and money! The print out doesn't give you exact dates that you worked and only shows the year you had the job!

I called ss.. they're call center is open till midnight. They helped me login their online site and I printed out all the years I paid into ss. It does not give you places you've worked, only the year and how much you earned. I called ss back and she said you'd have to go to the ss office and pay for it and it takes 4 months by mail! ! I guess I'm going by pure memory now! Lol

Guys, the bottom line is if you didn't pay taxes don't list the job. You were supported by your parents during that time

I got a print out of my job history last year. The ss office gave it to me the same day. Its a good thing I saved hundreds of stubs. There's no dates listed. It show's the year, address, and your gross. Its not in order, so I had to figure it out smh. Took me about three days to figure out the dates. I thought waiting was tough. This was brutal. Now that I have everything written down. I will enter it online.

Valid US passport can be used instead or birth certificate right? Its on the list. Anyone bring that instead? Now I'm all freaked out. I was a stockboy outta high school in 1988. Is that gonna mess me up?
