I just heard that they started Cdl classes again. And I heard from an instructor that they are putting a class end of July. But as far as I know HR hasn't sent any letters

Since today is already July 1st, and no one has heard anything official, I think a class in July is pretty unlikely. I also question the cdl classes. There has to be more than 200 people waiting who ALREADY have their cdl from the last time they had the classses. Since this list is set to expire in Feb, and no one else would be called off this list, why would they give cdl classes to guys with zero hopes of getting on from this 6063 list? Also asked a buddy otj, he didnt hear anything about cdl classes having started.

You have very strong points but what if they are going to extend the list one more time. I am just trying to pick sense out of nonsense. Has anybody on the job heard about them extending list 6063 again, and what is the status of the new test being created?
I've heard they will be hiring a couple more classes... I've heard they are still preparing the test.. I have not heard about the test being extended. Sorry. But there's a lot of movement with promotions and retirees so most likely they just want to get the numbers right so they don't fall short during the winter.. I've also heard the cdl classes are starting soon.. Please remember this is a day to day organization if one thing in the city occurs that affects the garbage it changes our day. I'm at the bottom and I am waiting for more people under me. Wish you all the best of luck.
