I'm interested to know more about AAS Fashion Design program at Fashion Institute of Technology(FIT).
Here I have some questions, and I really hope to get advice from you all, especially who are experienced!

1-) What's AAS?

2-) Who's the perfect to take this program?

3-) Does it worth the money?

4-) What's factors are standing out FIT than others institute around New York?

5-) What's the differences between AAS and Bachelor Degree?

6-) How about the school, quality, environment, off-campus nearby housing, and the most important career paths after graduate from FIT?

7-) How's the fashion industry looks into FIT AAS graduate?

Thank you so much^^

I'm sorry that you've had no answers, since no one is familiar with FIT. Perhaps you can find an internet forum that is for fashion professionals. You could also ask FIT if they have an internet board for their students or alumni, where you could ask a question.

1- Associate in Applied Sciences
2- people interested in fashion?
3- most likely not
4- The Rhode Island School of Design is supposed to be the top in the country. Also Parsons ranks higher than FIT
5- AAS is a 2 year degree and a BA is a 4 year degree
6- don't know this stuff
7- since it's just an associates degree... I'd say working retail at minimum wage.

OP, these are questions you should ask an admissions counselor at FIT. You'll also want to check out Parsons and ask each admissions counselor what they think of the other school. Then, follow up those conversations with your own research. It would be great if you could talk to students enrolled in the program--not those referred by a university official either.
