Hello,
It has been like 6 months that I made a complaint about an illegal cellar but still no response from Building Dept. The owners have been making thousands of dollars besides their unlicensed-uninsured construction business. 3 paid-off buildings in 15 years.
This is New York, land of opportunity!!!

You have to call 311 five or more times before they take action. That's been my experience anyway.

People make money "illegally" everyday. As long as its not hurting you(literally), why is it your concern?
