I have a personal loan that I have been paying since 2010 but I am baffled by some current events. I was going to pay my weekly amount but the website is completely down. No one is answering the phoone and I contacted the Better Buisness Bureau and was told that they are out of buisness, no number listed and mail has been returned. They advise that legal counsel be sought. This is a first for me...what should I do? I still have a balance but I'm not sure where to start. Any thoughts?

What a fine predicament to be in! I don't have any legal advice on this one, but I'd have to say my first thought is that some other business will likely purchase their debts and contact you to continue payment, sort of like how mortgages work.
