Tolls - Bridges & Tunnels - The Port Authority of NY & NJ

B&T Crossing Charges

I can't find any good link for the Tappan Zee bridge, but it's around $5 per trip for "cars".

If you're traveling with two other people, add the carpool plan to you E-Z Pass account. If you're willing to go through a cash lane and ask for the carpool rate, you can get through for only $4.25. Depending on the time of day, and the approach you use, the cash lines are only marginally slower than the E-Z Pass lanes. If you can, approach the bridge from the Palisades Parkway-- they have the shortest lines. Otherwise, you can use the 80-95 local lanes to the lower level, which also have shorter lines.

This goes for any Port Authority crossing, btw.

also theres a I believe 1.50 Toll down 87 in Yonkers going from N-S, you can get around by taking one of the parkways, but if your thinking what crossing is most price effic. keep that in mind. the toll is by mile square I believve.

Either way, Its a trap" from either direction gettin into NTC Is like being charge to enter some paradise/ which Im sorry it is no paradise compared to Westchester/ NNJ suburbs, the tolls are pretty ridic. Its will hurt NYC business, as most Professional workers in the metro now live outside of NYC borders.
