Mayor Andrew Cuomo recently announced his plan for
Congestion Pricing for Manhattan below 60th st. in order
to assist the floundering MTA. As he mentioned the word
Congestion the audience started making noise. His response:
" I am surprised that the people understand Congestion Pricing"
I was floored. I honestly thought he was sincere in his response.
Mr.Mayor....... please do not underestimate the public to which you serve.
Once again, the hands of the politica are trying to enable the MTA junkie
at the expense of the tax paying middle class.......................
I went to an event last year at which I saw Sam Schwartz do a presentation on congestion pricing. It was pretty good. I wish I could recall all the details. There were a lot of interesting factoids.
