How many times do we need to repeat situations like this?

Wow. I was just around there a couple of weeks ago. The traffic on Nostrand Avenue is fast-moving, and can be hectic for pedestrians.

Awful. You figure someone could have least taken the 10 seconds to call 911 as opposed to leaving a human being in the street like yesterday's trash. A lot of people said "he was drunk" but this has nothing to do with it. The fact that he was injured, regardless of his negligence or another is moot. it could be due to the bystander effect, Where one figures someone else will take action, Or the fact people in large cities see so many things like this they become desensitized and just go on there way.

More cities, less moving people. : (

Someone did call 911, as the cops came. Its just that the driver's are guilty of hit and runs. Hopefully they get caught.

smh you gotta let cars have the righter way in the hood,
because someone will run ya butt over, especially if you
get to the corner at the exact same time the car does.
most people drive crazy like they don't have time for
pedestrians. nothing's nice out there.

Some NYC residents are illegals and will not report anything they see to the police for fear of deportation. Other new Yorkers are afraid of scammers trying to sue them if they help. So Basically you are on your own in NYC.l
