There's a guy here calling the South Bronx, "Southern Bronx" or SoBro LoL
Nowadays, since Bushwick is more chic than East Williamsburg, you see the opposite... 90% of the time an article comes out in gothamist, the times, curbed, etc. mentions Bushwick there actually referring to East Williamsburg if people actually go by factual boundaries... It's so ridiculous... It's why people think Bushwick is just another extension of Williamsburg... It's only after they realize what actually constitutes Bushwick that they realize how little the area has changed demographics wise even after 20 years of hype...

YOu'll hate having a car up there. If you value your sanity either be prepared to either pay for a spot or give up the car.

I am curious, are you working in New Jersey or something? If you don't need the car to get to work, seriously get rid of it, there is no upside.

Just get rid of it. Having a car in the city gets either very old or very expensive very quickly

I don't work in jersey but my girlfriend is in NJ and I make the commute until we move in together next year when she transfers her job to the city.

$450 is actually a good deal for a garage on the UWS, but garages are generally less expensive when you go uptown. The less expensive options in Washington Heights will be on Broadway (above 179th as the hospital does bump prices up), with more expensive garages (because there are fewer of them) as you get closer to the river in the 180s. You should be able to find a garage under $250 in that area.

Regarding RAMBO, there was some minor press coverage of residents disliking the term in December, as it is a newly minted acronym. And, it's Google maps, where they allow volunteers to approve changes, not necessarily cartographic experts.
