When we bought a couple of years ago, the crime stats were actually lower for our new precinct (Washington/Hudson Heights, 34th) than in our old and much beloved UWS. I was really surprised.

whilst it may have been coined by the real estate arena, (as have been many neighborhoods in Manhattan)
it was with good reason. the area known as Hudson Heights is simply different than washington heights.
there is simply no doubt.

parking in HH is great and we have TWO cars!!!!
