Don't roll your eyes at me. It was a legit question.

I was just figuring out how YOU think the LL would let you get away with something like this with more than one or two people on the lease.

Sorry, I didn't mean to roll my eyes

If it's for rent, then you're right, it may be a little difficult to have more than 2 people on the lease, but if it's a purchase, I don't see why not.

At $940/mo, I would take one in a hot second.

The sad part is if they simply lifted rental regulations, curtailed public housing and loosened some zoning. The housing shortage would alleviate itself and areas of affordability would open up in Manhattan even below 96th Street. Oh well micro apartments it is I guess.

Hmmm, I never thought about people actually PURCHASING something like this on purpose. It's already overpriced as a rental.

Supply & demand. Whether people buy to live, or buy to invest. There is always someone out there willing to pay to live in Manhattan. That's the sad truth.

^ supply and demand is not a concept some people on this forum can fully grasp. So don't even go there.

For them is "too expensive" and it's the "transplant's fault".
Bloomberg is just their accomplice and enabler.

Let's be real here. You're not going to find a rental pretty much anywhere in the United States for $250 a month, let alone Manhattan. I think $940 is more than fair considering how nice the space will be.
