There were so many questions about motorists getting mad about getting tickets and punching TEA's in the face/assaulting them....jeez i really hope its not like in real life...anyway, now i need to get my license...When u take your test and when did you get called?

Oh man this is not good. I was reading some older posts of how delinquent debt is an automatic DQ. I have some delinquent credit cards that i can pay off in a few months but I also have a ton of delinquent student loans ($20k) which will take me a long time to pay off. All the accounts are in good standing now but i have several missed payments....I basically have no shot at getting this job now, right? I was also thinking of taking some other exams but because of my credit history should i not take any more exams?
@turner23x Honestly, it can happen but they its how you handle yourself. If you issue a summons and get nasty with a motorist then, that can happen. You can't have any delinquent credit. Your credit gets checked. You have a chance if you clean it up. Start making payments now. No law enforcement will accept you with loans in default. You should get your list # within 3-6 months and a letter to 1PP a few months after. I took my test 2012 and started the process 2013.
Rocky I remember you,we passed the psychological medical the same days and I don't understand why you are not in the academy.i have to say this, traffic doesn't pay well but you can make some good money with the overtime, benefits and promotions.strict academy but you like as go.i hope they gona raise the wage and give to us more powers because we now uniformed members of the nypd
@Dareios I agree. @Rockyd1 Yes, that shouldn't be a problem. I suggest you get in contact with your investigator and ask "what is the status of everything". Good luck and I hope you make the next academy.
@Dareios & @CaptainAngel I did send my investigator a email saying what my status. My investigator said "I am getting closer to your medical date so appointments will be going out shortly. I hope all of your paperwork and document are ready". She wrote me that email like 2 week ago. So hopefully I am in by next academy.
