Two episodes have aired so far about the history of New York's (though they worked out of Jersey) local channel 13. It starts out during the pre-pbs era and it features only programs that were produced by New York 13 so you won't see any Mr. Rogers or Masterpiece Theatre. It's fun to see a young Meryl Streep, Dustin Hoffman, Samuel L. Jackson and Morgan Freeman (on the Electric Company) before they became famous. The series is also available online, for now.
