Hey guy. i live about an hour and a half away from new york city and visit around 5 times a year. I love the city and alway have fun when visiting. But it seems i am running out of new things to do. it would be fair to say i did almost all of the touristy things there are from the high line to the Brooklyn bridge. I'm looking for more fun things to do that i haven't already. i usually stay in manhattan but would love to go into the other boroughs as well. any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Take a bike next time and just ride around like you live there. You can get around to places quicker than walking. You will probably look more like a resident than a tourist to people. Might also get a chance to venture out to places that might not be the best places to walk but keeping good speed on a bike you should be alright.
Get lost, seriously, just walk randomly. I always do this when I want to be outdoors. I often learn so much by winging it. So much to see and appreciate on foot!
Definitely check out other boroughs. Brooklyn has a great art museum, and nearby is Prospect Park, which I think is even better than Central Park.
MTA museum (also in Brooklyn).
Bronx Zoo.
Go to Flushing and check out Chinatown.
