Hi

Does anyone have any recommendation on buyer agents in Riverdale? Especially one that works with first time buyers?

Thanks,
Laura

Trebach and Robert Hill are 2 very good realtors. Hill is located on 231th street West of Broadway.

Try Pam Trebach especially. Also Linda Justus at Robert E Hill. Both very professional and knowledgable. They were in Riverdale before Halstead or Corcoran started coming in.

Certain agents can do better at finding the better listings. Halstead is known for the more high end listings here in Riverdale.

Douglas Elliman now has 2 offices in Riverdale and Sotheby’s has one as well. I liked the quality of the Douglas agents better. I used Mary Kavanaugh but eventually stuck with Michelle Badour out of the several agents we met throughout the process. Mary is a lovely woman and very knowledgeable. She showed us quite a few places. Michelle was a better fit for us. She wasn't pushy and was very patient with us which we needed. She is a great negotiator too. Saved us thousands.
We also met with Linda Justus of Robert E Hill who was also mentioned here. She was knowledgeable as well. One thing we learned, if you have an agent you like and are comfortable with then stick with them. It's a bit overwhelming and confusing working with multiple. Just make sure they are devoting the time you need and trust they will find you a home. Michelle Badour was that person for us and we love, love, love our home.
