Dangerous Areas of North Bronx
Can someone Tell me dangerous areas of The North Bronx, because in the threads I always see Wakefield, and Co-Op.
But never Eastchester(Edenwald & Gunhill Rd), Williamsbridge, or Boston Rd - E. 233rd St.
Please tell me.. Because on Wiki It says:
This area of The Bronx is known to have a higher crime rate than the other areas around it, Eastchester is known to have a local crip set called the rollin30's who have a hated rivalry with neighboring co-op city and their bloods set g-shine,and also due to the social and neigboorhood differences between the areas which draws a wedge between Eastchester and Baychester. Compared to other places, i think Allerton and pelham parkway is still comfortable but its slowly declining. But the residents are sticking together and the newcomers try to stay a distance away. So its either become a part of the already established community or shop at Fordham

The more I see Allerton, the more I think SOMETHING is going to pop off SOON.

From what I know, White Plains Rd north of Allerton to Mt vernon is bad. Particular trouble spots include Burke Av and WP Rd, GunHill and WP Rd, 225th and WP Rd, Boston Rd and Eastchester Rd
The entire NE section of the Bronx to me is pretty much the same--Baychester, Eastchester, Wakefield, Williamsbridge, all drastically changed from decades ago, with the above areas mentioned being particular trouble spots

northeast bx isnt as bad as south bronx but its still the hood.
edenwald - they shoot and the precinct is across the street
boston secor - average pjs
baychester - piece of ****
schiefflein - piece of ****
valley - gangs
laconia ave and boston road gets a lot of car break-ins
edenwald, baychester and schiefflein are all in the same area.
edenwald pjs is by far one of the most intimidating places ive ever been

Interesting thread. I have felt far more uneasy in certain areas of the North Bronx like around the Edenewald Projects and parts of Gunhill Rd than Mott Haven. Then again, I know Mott Haven so my opinion is definitely biased. I went to high school in Baychester and it was not a pleasant experience getting off the train up there and walking to and from school...the same cannot be said walking in Mott Haven back and forth to the train on my way to school...I was never bothered, harassed, or intimidated. JUst my experience though.
