This is the golden era of New York that some of the natives on this board desperately miss. Before Rudy had the audacity to get crime under control which allowed the hippies and transplants to move in and start gentrifying the place.

That was the old Bay Ridge/Bensonhurst line, it was one of the last lines to get the new cars that had already existed in the early 80's on the F & Q lines. Both of which were clean and pretty much grafitti free. But take notice that the Brooklynites on the train dressed much better than the Manhattanites.

I sorta agree with you.
I've taken that route a million times growing up. The video did bring back memories.
sure--NYC was a jungle then, but it was kinda cool.
