Hello, all! I had previously made a post about my going up to NYC in the beginning of April and I inquired about how the weather is at that time. Well, the cold seems to not be letting up out there, so I guess my question on that is answered. However, I wanted to know if anyone had any good recommendations on tasty places to eat. I love Asian cuisine, and if anyone has any good places (Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc etc) that they swear by, I'd love to know so I can visit them. I am also Mexican, and would love to take my boyfriend to a good Mexican Taqueria up there, so any and all suggestions are welcome! And not limited to food. Activities, shopping, etc welcome.

thank you guys!

Lunch at ICHIUMI (6 East 32nd St.) ...you will never forget it.

Mon- Thursday, 11-3, it's $18.95 for all you can eat (or IMAGINE.) Price goes up $3 for weekends.

On a day when you have not spent 2 hours eating until you need a foklift to get you into a bed, make sure you go to the METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART. Plan on spending the entire day.

Oh that's wonderful! I bet my boyfriend would love eating there since he doesn't eat a whole lot of his homeland's food too often.

Excuse me, but since NYC is one of the great world capitals for food, rather than asking individuals here, you should buy some of the restaurants guides, and/or check out the Chowhound website.

I find that with restaurant guides, the guides write what the restarauteurs PAY for.
Personally, I trust a website like this one more.
