I'm not bitter that I take care of myself. In fact, I'm proud. If people need public assistance=NYCHA then they should seek it but at least own up to getting public assistance. Don't come with I'm not getting public assistance when you are living in public housing at an affordable rent.

Actually yes I do, besides some annoyance from my upstairs neighbor I love everything about where I live. You come to appreciate things so much more when you pay things yourself, you should try it. Oh wait silly me you live in a NYCHA building in a 1 bedroom with your daughter and that isn't good enough for you and you now want a 2 bedroom. Yeah you will never know that feeling.

[sigh ...] NYCHA IS most certainly public assistance.
The taxpayers subsidize NYCHA.
Thus, some of the taxpayers pushed for alternative uses for the land around various complexes, and have begun to question the entitlement of residents to very low cost parking.
Which has led to questions about NYCHA residents, who cannot afford to pay market rent, owning automobiles in general.

NYCHA is not a form of public assistance. Lmao if it is, which is isn't, then that's news to me. Lmao

Section 8 is a form of public assistance tho. Look at the income limits for housing before you say it's a form of public assistance lol

If you don't pay the full rent of the apartment then you are getting assistance.
