Default Staten Island

I lived in Wayne, NJ and a nice suburb of Minneapolis (Eden Prairie)..wondering is there something comparable in NJ/NY..my fiance is originally from Staten Island and said that he loved it there. Would I like Staten Island or is there a better part of the area that I would like??

Thanks so much

Staten Island is actually somewhat comparable to Wayne. I would say though that for thee most part is more like Totowa or West Paterson than Wayne. It is mostly a suburban area with a large Italian population. If you've lived in NJ I think you can definitely hack it in Staten Island, they're not that different of areas.
