Moral judgements aside, doesn't this speak volumes about the decision making abilities of Anthony Weiner? The online fooling around and sexting cost him job as a congressman, cost him his reputation and should have cost him his marriage. With all that he did and should have lost, he continued to do the very same thing? How can anyone possibly vote for and entrust a man who so obviously lacks the ability to make good decisions?

Just because someone is gay does not mean ... well, anything. It does not even necessarily mean that someone is more liberal. If someone is gay, this means that they do not date members of the opposite sex. That's it.
Well, Weiner will be whistled back by the NY party machinery now. Give it a few days. He will step down. Without him though, the outer boroughs will go republic.
My guess is it will be Quinn (unelectable anywhere but Manhattan) versus Joe Lhota. (He's Giuliani without the law degree, Bloomberg without the billions. But brash, outspoken, catholic, family of cops, cab drivers and firemen, MTA.)

Hate or love Bloomberg, he created and managed a mega successful private business. These managerial/executive skills translate well to managing a complex city government like NYC. Weiner has done jack sheet in both the private sector and as a congressman. He is not qualified to do anything. He graduated from some crappy small SUNY undergrad school and then joined Schumer's team. He has no skills outside of being a politician. He is not even smart enough to be a scumbag lawyer like your standard politician.
He has never produced or managed anything in the private sector. Its sort of like our community organizer in chief, but at least he went to the Ivy Leagues and is a lawyer. Weiner is just a moron with an inflated ego.

I am an economist and I have found that economics is a fluid art. "Economics" for Michael Bloomberg is not the same as "economics" for someone living in the NYCHA.
"Economics" follows class, country, and political system and those stuck with the basics of Adam Smith are the most to be feared because they have "a little learning."
