I will be visiting NYC the end of this month for a couple days. I have friends who are die hard to do the tourist things. Can anyone suggest points of interests and local areas to hang out? I find the best times when traveling is to mingle with the locals and skip the tourist spots. Also, would the city entertainment book be a wise choice to save money?
