The blog description reads "This is a blog created for me to share the craigslist postings I sift through on a daily basis trying to find decent, affordable housing in New York City."
You are indeed correct though about that being the reason why "Bushwick" residents keep showing interest in Bronx neighborhoods... The main reason why they're moving to Mott Haven however is because they're not actually renting in Bushwick but the "Bushwick entity"... I have now come to realize through various links and serious "experts" who have totally lived in this city for more than 6 months and understand the history far better than I ever could (After all I'm just a silly native)... apparently the Bushwick identity includes East Williamsburg, Southside, Ridgewood, Greenpoint, Maspeth, Glendale, Bed-stuy, East NY... Also important to note, the "Bushwick identity" is spreading... Eventually Marine Park and Bay Ridge will be included in the description of Bushwick as Far South Schwick... Please note that I was the first to coin this expression if it does indeed take off... @ Nywriterdude and other agents out here on city-data, I want compensation for my contributions if you do end up using these terms...
how can you say they dont look bad? its not a 3rd world country we live in here, if the government wouldnt spend so much money on israel/wars they could actually invest in things like housing, infrastructure, education. these places are horrible.
Cozy... Especially the ones that are actual closets!
“I am looking for someone to move into a large closet space in one of the three bedrooms of my apartment. The bedroom has two closets but there is no need for it so we are looking to sublet it as a living space to a 4th roommate. The closet is about 5 feet wide and 7 feet long. It has no windows and think it would be ideal for a twin size bed and small night stand."
Cost; $1000.00
What more do you need than a place to sleep, when you work from 9-5 and in the evening indulge in social activities like every true NY'er.
