Take the #7 train to Hunters Point Avenue. Take the 67 bus from 21st Street/Hunters Point Avenue to 55th Avenue/48th Street.

Since this thread was already bumped, I guess I'll respond for the hell of it (even though the OP already made his trip): You can take the Q58 bus to Grand Avenue/69th Street, and then take the Q67 to 55th Avenue/48th Street.

Since the Q67 runs infrequently, you may be better off taking the Q58 to Grand Avenue/Fresh Pond Road, and then taking the Q39 to Rust Street/57th Place.

You can try taking the 7 to 46th Street, and then taking the B24 bus to Greenpoint Avenue/47th Street, and then taking a 10 minute walk down 47th Street.

Either that, or you can go to Courthouse Square and take the Q67 from there (though I must warn you that it runs infrequently)

What makes you think UPS didn't make the standard two attempts?

After two attempts, UPS will hold the package for a few days (I forget how many), afterwhich they ship it back to the originating shipper.

The above is standard policy and has nothing whatsoever to do with the driver's performance. You are either there to receive your item or you are not,

OP, it may be possible to call UPS and arrange for another delivery attempt.

JFYI, FedEx operates under a similar policy.

I freaking hate UPS. And did you notice now they have a program that allows, for a fee, for you to schedule delivery for hours when you will be home? That's right, they want you to pay them AGAIN to do the job they are already being paid to do.

I checked on the mta trip planner for you. You can take one bus but you will have to walk almost a mile to get to the right bus stop. If you want to walk less, you will have to take two buses.

You can change the options on the trip planner by selecting that you only want to walk a half mile or less. The option I selected was one mile or less.

You can go to www.mta.info | The Weekender and click on trip planner
