Very sad and disturbing. The city makes an effort to retain businesses like rich multinational financial companies here, but can't help a local business that actually produces something?
Very sad. Reminds me of growing up in the Hudson Valley and all the factories closing along the Riverfront and people in my family and community losing their jobs (NAFTA turned out just swell for us working folks). Apparently, the development vultures are already circling over this 15 acre site. I read in an article that they are considering building more hotels or an entertainment complex. Will have to wait and see.
