To anyone FROM or VERY FAMILIAR with Soundview BX
I would like to ask anyone from, or who is very familiar with Soundview, Bronx. I am planning on visiting my girl friend's mom with my girlfriend. We are an interracial couple (she is black, I am white) does anyone think that we would have any type of trouble due to our races? I understand that there are a--holes everywhere, but what do those people who are familiar with the area think that our chances are of running into problems. We are specifically visiting the White Plains Rd area of Soundview.

I dont believe no one is buying in at Harbor Pointe the are so nice. They really need to landscape some of those streets that go down to the complex.

I'm kennyb i grew in soundview i went to p.s.107. I.s. 174 graduated from stevenson high and then i join the army, stayed in for 20 years, i feel good, i'm 47 years old now, yeah i know but i feel like i'm 17 years old, i remember the view from back in the day we had a blue ice cream, the man who drove the truck his name was joe, they try to rob him one day, it was those peeps who didn't know him because if they did they wouldn't have tried to robbed him, joe gave everybody something on credit and this was before food stamps came out you feel me. Then rap music came out we had fun then to everybody did it lol, either you mc or you dj everybody did it but we had fun, no drive bys, i remember cozy corner, fedco foods, pathmark, jhs 123 jammimg with the young ladies doing the freak dance. The busy bee was the mc , bam and mario jammed at the 3, flash was at monroe hs.until next time peace keep the view safe. From kennyb
