Among other things. Anyway, how is live in Douglaston?

The best supermarket I believe is Fairway. Catholic school is Divine Wisdom Catholic Academy although some commute to Manhasset to attend St. Mary's.

Douglaston is not broing if you have a car. You can drive on weekends to Long Island for beaches, big retail/movies, dining/bars or town hopping. You can also drive along RT 25A for dining and shopping.

Prices - Douglaston is VERY expensive due to heavy Asian buying. Unless you are buying a co-op, a house in good condition can easily cost more than 600K.

Sports - There are probably sports in school and the local leagues. There is also the Samuel Field Y in Little Neck. But if you want something more "elite" (elite tennis, elite soccer, elite basketball, etc.), you need to commute to Long Island.
