I've always been curious about this building. Recently I've seen that the building has been renovated lately on the outside. Are the apartments in the building rentals or co-ops? I love this building. The tenants in this building never move out. Never seen an apartment listing. Heard that the apartments are huge.

FYI for those that don't about the building it was "Carter" in the 1991 film New Jack City.

Anyone else have information about this building? Thanks.

Damn I haven't been around there in a very long time. I had a friend that lived in the area. It almost looks like an extension of the Upper West Side in Google Street Views.

Wesley Snipe's homeboy in "Sugarhill" was hung up there in the courtyard, and lit up with gasoline and a match! I believe Ernie Hudson did the honors, if I remember the scene!
