Hey everyone I have a 7 hr layover at Newark airport. I was wondering what the cheapest and quickest way would be to get from Newark airport to NYC? I was thinking of taking a bus to Newark penn station and then taking the PATH subway to WTC station which would be $4.50 round trip. I'm just trying to find out how much the bus trip would cost from Newark airport to Newark penn station. What do you guys think? Is this the cheapest and fastest way to get into the city? Thanks!

Remember that EWR also has the AirTrain. No need for a bus.

That's the cheapest way - Bus 62 Newark Airport to Newark Penn Station $1.50; PATH to NYC $2.25 + $1 metrocard fare.

It's not the prettiest ride but easily the cheapest.

such a pain in the ass. The air train doesn't always come very frequently at all, and you have to lug your luggage to the platform, then transfer and lug it onto the NJT or PATH platform, then transfer again at New York Penn. total cluster****. Take a bus, easy on, easy off at multiple locations in Manhattan
