Sure as long as money is used correctly. They should aim to make the Broadway Junction area similar to Jamaica Avenue in Queens.

The idea would be to attract businesses and non-low/no income residents. I don't think it would, but perhaps it could make Jamaica redundant.

I think redundant is a poor choice of words. A new option for northern Brooklyn is more appropriate.

You're right. Might even increase demand in Jamaica as a result. I don't think it's a zero sum game. For me, if they end up connecting the A and J to the queens blvd lines along with a woodhaven blvd SBS route, it would cut Jamaica Center out of my life. Except for jury duty.
