Even the most cold blooded mafia hit men never shot a baby. Not that I ever heard of.

I'm confused - are you trying to make a point about the entire crime rate, based on one incident?

Did ya'll read the story?

The father was the intended target. The baby getting hit was accidental. So no, people are not just walking around shooting babies for fun. The bickering in here is idiotic. Horrible situation all around. A baby is dead, when he should be out an about enjoying his life.

Who said or insinuated that "people are just walking around shooting babies for fun"? As far as I can tell, the only bickering stemmed from a couple posters claiming that there is no lifestyle or culture that led to this. That 'these thing happen sometimes' (paraphrase), and there's no reason to talk about it.

You shouldn't be shooting anyone, but the point was if you see a child around of any age you should at least wait until they leave.

From what I read, there were a couple of people talking like this was an usual occurrence.

Well to be fair, this has happened a number of times in areas like this across both the city and country. And this won't be the last. No, it's not a "usual" occurrence. But it's happened enough to warrant discussion.

If you referring to myself I came into this thread when some idiot said incidents like this is due to a "black culture" and responded appropriately.
