Most of these cities are drastically cheaper than nyc, yet the income is all about the same, even tho by some people's logic nyc should be on top of this list when its not
what a surprise, not
Oh please. No coincidence that wha tthat list considers the New York metro area is probably the largest in land area and population on that list. Way more people to take into consideration. Hell they included PA. Since when was PA part of the tri-state area?

I barely crack six figures and my wife doesn't even work. Two kids, house, dog, two cars. We spent 10 days in Colorado this year and are going to Aruba next year. It can be done.
What denial? You complain about how you can afford better in Seattle well it's only because you're not making enough here, or you make enough but do not manage your money well. If you had enough money to live the way you wanted to in NYC you wouldn't even make the thread.

i dont complain noth, i opened a thread asking a reasonable question, if u get upset so much about it, maybe thats because deep down u kno its the truth
and how do you kno what i make or dont make? thats not even the point, i could be a billionaire and find it fine here, or not cuz otherwise all billionaires would live here, the question is why is it worth it for average people
