I'd love to see a time lapsed video comparing it to the construction of the Burj Khalifa, alongside both two bar charts reflecting cost to build alongside each tower.

Regretfully, would be quite a shameful day for us as Americans.

There's a great big world outside of New York City.

It's a really well done video.

It is kind of crazy that it took so long, cost so much, and ended up neither winning records nor being visually appealing. Kind of wild.

yeah u seem very worldly; like that's something to brag about.

i don't even like the new wtc that much. it's kind corny to me.

it would have been fine shorter than the empire state building,
right along with anything else built recently.

the twin towers were the most awesome symbol of nyc ever.

Where we were 12 years ago, to where we are today.
Where the world was 12 years ago, to where they are today.

This seems like the penultimate of days to consider these things.

I mean no disrespect to those who lost their lives in the tragic incident, however the construction of WTC One is not an incredibly impressive feat in light of worldwide construction since 2001.

A skyscraper that wasn't built in near-slave labor conditions would be a more appropriate comparison to One World Center
