It is a dump. I am here for work now. I've been to Tokyo which is massively populated and you can eat off of the street. In Chicago, the loop and other areas of the city are clean. I know of not one section of NYC that is clean. Garbage on sidewalk, **** and urine smell, vile, filthy smelling subways. Get some pride NY. Good ahead crucify me for speaking the truth, see if i care. NYC is slowly on the decline again after Mayor Giuliani, hopefully someone will at least be intellectually honest about that. After DeBlasio, NYC will closely resemble NYC under Dinkins. Just watch..

Never been to Toronto, but have been to Vancouver and Montreal. Far cleaner than NYC. I've heard Toronto be called the NYC of Canada so you might be onto something!
