If my neighbors in the same condo building smoke pot in public areas like the hallways, stairwells, and elevator, what can we do about this? Management has already warned against such activity but continues to happen.
Same thing in my building, but didn't the government just say that they're relaxing enforcement of the law against marijuana use? Even if there was a police officer there who saw them smoking, they probably wouldn't do anything.
You can do nothing about it.
Every co-op meeting there area couple of loons who go on and on and on about it and even want spies hired sniffing for offenders.
All they do is waste everyone's time.

That's not the same thing as smoking in "no smoking" zones. Smoking in stairwells, hallways and elevators is a fire hazzard. Why don't they smoke in their own apt? I'm not a prude and I'm not against marijuana but I do have a problem with people smoking it in public access areas like that where my child would have to walk through.
i did that when i was younger. i did not think about the residents. That is just the way it was. you smoked pot, or you smoked it second hand. either way you smoked.
i am not against them doing anything inside their own properties, just not in public areas. Besides, the smoke is so strong it even comes through our doors.
tell em cut you in or your droppin dime, puff puff''
