It doesnt have to be a crime riddled place, I am from rhode island and the new york lifestyle has appealed to me, I would not be able to afford something expensive. I've been to brownsville before but that is it. Could even be carribean community i am jamaican. can someone help with the demographics i believe this is the word.

I had a friend that stayed in bed-stuy and didn't pay too much for a studio.
