I would'nt wear the dickies at fbf.. they can be uptight about uniforms. I wore some acg boots last year at the training and the super made a big deal.. but out in the real world its not that serious.. but really anyone can write you up so be careful while on probation.
yeah do not buy the dickies right now. The super at FBF will crucify you and you don't know what garage you are going to....certain garages have chiefs or supers who are sticklers for it. And technically that's out of uniform. After probation, do what you please
My list # is 53xx do anybody think I will get called in 2014.
It's tough to say until they can haggle out with the city how many classes they have. These last 4 classes went from 200 list numbers a class to over 300. Then we went to like 500. Keep checking to see how many classes they run. It's not impossible at all.

Ex military guys who become bosses are often sticklers for uniforms. But then imagine fbf..no trucks to follow or routes to clean. He had to justify his job.
Though we all know the least liked super always goes to fbf so I kinda feel bad for him lol

No one knows, first test of its kind. Even the society study sessions are guessing. Know your forms, know scan, read the teletypes then realize how dumb some supervisors are yet passed.

Hello, I just wnated to tell you and TommyT1980 and whoever might be going through the same thing we're going through is that I was medically dq for an x-ray. My group was called for fp in aug and that's when they reached my list # so that's when I started the appeal prosses, sept, oct, AND nov class went in after that and my appeal is still pending smh. So I say that to say once they get to your number next year then you have to appeal it and that takes months so most likely most people with a dq in 2014 will probably have to wait until 2015. I'm so sorry to share this news because I know how heart breaking it can be trust me, but just think its better to know theese things. I'm sure others on this forum would agree with me. Smh. Sorry again just speaking from experience
