I live in the housing projects on 104th. The area is not bad. In the daytime there's no problem walking around the projects. I just wouldn't walk alone at night around the projects. It can be desolete in some areas. I would walk on 100th street. Use the C line subway to be closer to Manhattan Ave. The M10 also runs along CPW.
