Yah it was a $2500 1 bedroom. They've been taking applications forever, maybe still accepting them? They aren't nearly as nice as the q41 building tho and the lottery units have a "poor door"

Thats horrible. The person I dealt with after Miss Lake was very professional and courteous. She seemed to be on the ball and knew how to expedite things and produce results. Miss Lake was very: Look y 'all, this is a consulting gig and I'm going to drag this out as long as I can to keep my 2 week paycheck steady.

sorry to hear about the Hells Kitchen one. Maybe it's for the best.

Our Q41 thread is almost at 3 digits. That's exciting all in itself as well. It's a toss up between everyone's move in date and the Q41 hitting 3 digits to decide which one is more exciting hahaha.

I'm experiencing hardcore fatigue. I've been decorating all day.

No supermarket in sight. There is a small gas station that seems to sell bottled drinks and fruit up the block, but it looks very dangerous and has an unusual odor coming from the owner that reminds me of a small village in India.

Getting ready for Project Runway. I can't wait to meet the gays in the building so they can teach me how to rip the runway like a fierce girl. I want to shashay, shante, and shimmy down that runway like that RuPaul drag song.

I'm beyond excited...even though I don't care about the dishwasher as I'll never use it.

The adrenaline is pumping.

I wish the bathroom sink counter was used for the kitchen counter. The bathroom sink material in my opinion is a bit more LUXE.

MISSMODULAR, how are you? Any exciting NEW news?

Drama time.

I'm taking a wild guess but i think some of the nicer units that were not taken had to do with certain rooms needing to be redone because I bumped into other nice people/couples moving in today and they mentioned there are certain walls that have quick patch work that look related to a leak because there are water marks where the paint covering the repair is. A bit discouraging but staying positive regardless.

I know there was a leak in the roof above my bedroom, which they have since repaired. Anyone in a J unit might be experiencing the effects of that leak.

q41, what small village have you been to in India? I'd love to hear about your travel adventures and olfactory experiences!

We got our keys and started moving stuff in over the weekend and met some nice tenants. We're using Green Line Mover, Deluxeapartment - they were the cheapest of about 10 movers that we got quotes from. Also, I checked out some washer dryers at PC Richards this weekend and the Bosch stackable would work in our laundry closets. I'm going to as Ernesto about using an extension cord in that closet because I'd rather have the LG and that one has 2 plugs. Keep us updated if you solve the washing machine mystery!
