It seems Macys Herald Square has a problem with non-whites in their store.

Rookie NYPD cop claims she was profiled by Macy's then fired after false arrest; sues for $40M - NY Daily News

Quote:
A Bronx woman says she lost her job as a rookie NYPD cop because she was wrongly arrested for shoplifting at Macy’s in Herald Square.

Jenny Mendez is suing the store for $40 million for false arrest, discrimination and other claims. She says she was targeted because she is a Latina.

Mendez filed suit in Bronx Supreme Court last Friday. She says she was acquitted of shoplifting in a bench trial in September, but the NYPD had canned her in February, due to her bogus arrest, she says.

Quote:
A security officer then told Mendez the bag had been found and that a man was arrested for stealing it, the suit says. But when she arrived at the security office to collect the bag, she found herself arrested for shoplifting, the suit says.

A store detective admitted at trial to lying on her arrest paperwork, the suit alleges.

**Off to Macys Herald Square to go "shopping". **

Macy's is going to have to outright FIRE a lot of people and retrain people. What kind of MORONS did they hire? Part of the problem is since it costs so much to get by in the city, the people who work in retail in a place like Macy's (regardless of their race) are just not the best calibur of person.
